ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026

Flat Dog Games has been shortlisted for Gambling & Gaming Compliance Programme of the Year at the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026, marking an important moment of recognition for a business that has placed governance, proportionality and practical risk management at the centre of its growth.

The shortlisting reflects more than a well-presented compliance submission. It signals recognition of a framework built over time, one designed to respond to how risk actually emerges in practice rather than how it is sometimes described in theory.

Over the past six years, Flat Dog Games has focused on growing responsibly, maintaining high standards of compliance and governance while developing a model that supports commercial progress without losing sight of regulatory and operational risk. That approach has increasingly centred on proportionate, evidence-led oversight, particularly across the supply chain.

For eGaming Integrity, the shortlisting is also significant because it reflects growing recognition that supply chain assurance can be both effective and workable. In recent years, much of the debate around third-party risk in gambling has moved toward heavier, more intrusive expectations. In our view, that is not always the same thing as better oversight.

Our work with Flat Dog Games has been grounded in the principle that businesses should be able to demonstrate meaningful control over supply chain risk through structured, verifiable and repeatable assurance processes, without defaulting to models that are operationally unrealistic or unnecessarily invasive.

That thinking helped shape what we believe is a world-first, non-intrusive model for Supply Chain Assurance. The objective was not simply to add more compliance activity, but to create a framework capable of producing better outcomes. That means identifying real risk indicators, documenting findings clearly, escalating issues where necessary and giving boards and senior management a more credible basis on which to exercise oversight.

Flat Dog Games deserves real credit for embracing that approach. Compliance programmes are only effective when they are supported by leadership and embedded into the way a business actually operates. In this case, the willingness to invest in a measured, evidence led framework has helped create a compliance environment that is both serious and commercially grounded.

Recognition from the ICA at this level is meaningful. It suggests that proportionate compliance, when done properly, is not a compromise. It is a credible and increasingly important standard in its own right.

We are pleased to have supported Flat Dog Games in this area and congratulate the team on this well earned shortlisting.
